Our Staff

The instructional staff at Rock Creek Academy consists of licensed and experienced professionals, as well as certified teachers and other appropriately trained staff. Our clinical staff consists of licensed social workers and therapists. Licensed psychologists and diagnosticians are also available to provide comprehensive evaluations services.

Rock Creek Academy offers classroom assistants, one-to-one support staff, a program nurse, reading specialists, a media specialist, and a crisis intervention team. All of our staff is dedicated to the goal of each student earning a high school diploma. In this regard, the Academy adheres to The District of Columbia Public School graduation/academic requirements.

Recognizing that most students enter Rock Creek Academy after years of program failure, it becomes important for our students to learn to use teachers and staff’s experiences as a personal resource.
