Our Students

Rock Creek Academy serves students with a variety of disabilities ages 5-22. Our current population consists of students with learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, speech and language impairments, mild mental retardation, multiple disabilities and other health impairments.

Rock Creek Academy offers permanent and interim placements. Our programs can serve students who have not yet been identified, but require additional evaluations to determine appropriate programming and eligibility. A 30-day review meeting will be held for all new students to ensure the appropriateness of Rock Creek Academy as their educational placement.

Our programs embrace diversity of culture, gender, and ability levels. We have created an environment with expectations for high standards for learning and behavior. We are committed to creating an atmosphere of tolerance and respect that embraces diversity.
