Welcome to Rock Creek Academy, where we offer full time permanent and interim special education services to students ages 5-22 with a variety of disabilities.
Located in Washington, DC, Rock Creek Academy provides an interactive, academically focused, and therapeutic environment that recognizes the daily challenges of students who require alternatives to traditional education. This is achieved through: 1. a low student teacher ratio(6:1), 2. the implementation of sound meaningful instruction and 3. intensive therapeutic interventions and supports.
We believe the keys to academic success are directly connected to cultivating a safe, positive, and stimulating learning community where students have the freedom to explore interests, talents, and strengths.
